Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Account & profile: name, gender, date of birth/age, city, photos, education, profession, family details, lifestyle, religious practice and partner preferences that you choose to provide.
• Authentication: your email address (and Google account identifier if you sign in with Google). We do not store your password - authentication is handled by our provider, Supabase.
• Usage: pages viewed, profiles you view/save/express interest in, and basic device/log data used to keep the service secure.

2. How we use your information

• To create your profile and surface relevant, consent-based introductions.
• To operate premium features (contact reveal and in-app chat) and process payments.
• To verify families - account checks, a family reference, and admin review - and keep the community safe. This is a good-faith trust measure, not a background check.
• To send service notifications you have enabled.

3. What is never public

Phone number, WhatsApp, email and exact address are never shown publicly. Photos are private by default and shared only per your visibility settings and mutual consent. Guests browsing the site see masked names and no contact details.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Contact details are shared with another member only after you take an explicit action (a capped, paid contact reveal) or both families mutually accept an introduction. We share data with processors who help us run the service (e.g. Supabase for database/auth/storage, and our payment gateway for transactions) under appropriate safeguards, and where required by law.

5. Data security & retention

Access is protected by row-level security and role-based controls; photos are served via short-lived signed URLs. We retain your data while your account is active and delete or anonymise it on request, subject to legal obligations.

6. Where your data is stored

Our database, authentication and photo storage are hosted by Supabase in the Seoul, South Korea region. This means your information is processed outside India. We chose a managed provider so that security patching, backups and encryption are handled professionally rather than by us, and we transfer data only to run the service for you - never for sale or advertising. If you would prefer your data not to leave India, please contact us before creating a profile.

7. Your choices & rights

• Access, correct or delete your profile at any time from your account.
• Pause or hide your profile to control visibility.
• Request a copy or deletion of your data by contacting us (see below).
• Withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your profile or emailing us. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent was; we then stop processing your information and delete or anonymise it, apart from anything we must keep by law.
• Complain to us first (see below). If we do not resolve it, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.

8. Cookies

We use only essential cookies/local storage needed to keep you signed in and remember basic preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

9. Children

The platform is for adults only. You must be at least 18 to create an account or have a profile created for you, and we do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 18. If you believe a profile relates to a minor, tell us and we will remove it. (Eligibility to marry is a separate matter, covered in our Terms of Service.)
